Vatican Legacy Memorial Urn
Description:
The Vatican Legacy Memorial Urn is inspired by ceremonial papal traditions and architectural proportions associated with dignity, transition, and remembrance. The design does not replicate any specific historical object, but reinterprets these proportions into a modern memorial form with an elongated tapered silhouette that narrows from one end to the other, creating a balanced and structured form.
Each urn is handcrafted from solid walnut wood. Natural grain variation makes every piece unique, while a protective finish preserves the surface.
The urn features a pull-out bottom base secured with a single screw locking mechanism. This design provides stable containment of ashes while maintaining a clean exterior.

Cremation Urns – Frequently Asked Questions
A clear and respectful guide to help you choose a cremation urn with clarity and confidence.
A: A cremation urn is a vessel designed to hold the ashes of a loved one with care and dignity. For many families, it becomes more than just a container — a quiet, lasting place for remembrance and a way to keep a meaningful connection with someone who will always be part of your life. Whether kept privately, placed in a cemetery, used for burial, or chosen for scattering, an urn offers a respectful way to honor a life that mattered.
A: Choosing an urn is a deeply personal decision. There is no single correct choice — only the one that feels right for your family and honors your loved one in a meaningful way. Most families consider three key aspects:
• Size — to hold the ashes appropriately
• Material — for appearance, durability, and meaning
• Purpose — how and where the urn will be used
You may also reflect on your loved one’s personality, values, or life story. Our collection — including wooden, metal, marble, ceramic, glass, military, companion, child, and biodegradable urns — is thoughtfully curated to support a range of preferences.
A: weight before cremation produces approximately one cubic inch of ashes.
• Standard adult urns (~200 cubic inches) are suitable for most adults
• Companion urns (400+ cubic inches) are designed for two individuals
• Small, child, or keepsake urns are intended for infants, children, or sharing ashes among family members
When in doubt, choosing a slightly larger size provides added flexibility.
A: Cremation urns are available in the following materials:
• Metal (brass, bronze, stainless steel)
• Wooden
• Ceramic
• Glass
• Marble / stone
For families seeking a gentle return to nature, we also offer biodegradable urns made from bamboo, plant fibers, or mycelium. These are designed to naturally return to the earth over time, in accordance with local practices and regulations.
A: Most urns include a secure closure to safely contain the ashes. Some can be permanently sealed if desired, while others allow access if needed. The choice depends on how the urn will be used or kept.
A: Requirements vary by location, cemetery, or type of ceremony. Many cemeteries accept standard urns but may require a burial vault. Natural burial grounds often accept biodegradable options. Scattering in public spaces may follow local guidelines. We recommend confirming details with your funeral director or local authority before making a final decision.
A: Yes. Many urns — especially in metal and wood — can be engraved with names, dates, or meaningful details. Engraving is not available on ceramic urns. Personalization allows each piece to reflect a unique life — creating a tribute that feels personal and enduring.
A: Choosing a memorial can feel overwhelming. Our team is here to support you with care and clarity. Whether you need help comparing options or selecting something meaningful, we are available when you are ready.
