How We Helped a Customer After a Payment Problem
A customer recently selected a product on the Royal Memorials website but could not complete payment. They contacted us through Chatway Live Chat on our website and also sent a WhatsApp message to report the problem.
After receiving their messages, we checked the payment method they used, the product they had selected, and the product page link. We then reviewed the checkout process and found that our existing payment options were too limited to meet this customer’s needs.
Explaining the Situation and Arranging a Free Shipment
Before the customer contacted us, we did not know they had been unable to complete their purchase. After checking the situation, we explained the limitations of our payment options, apologized for the inconvenience, and began updating our payment setup.
To make up for the inconvenience, we offered to send the product they needed at no charge, with Royal Memorials covering both the product and shipping costs. Once the customer agreed, we confirmed the product, requested their delivery address, checked the shipping details, and arranged the shipment. Further communication took place through WhatsApp.
This free shipment was an individual goodwill gesture in response to this customer’s payment problem.

After the customer reported the payment problem, we checked the details and discussed sending the product at no charge. Personal information has been hidden.

Another Payment Enquiry During the Update
While we were updating the payment options, another customer contacted us through live chat to ask why they could not pay. We replied and tried to gather more details, but the customer left the chat before the conversation could continue. We could not confirm the specific payment problem they had encountered or help them complete their purchase. This second inquiry prompted us to complete the payment updates sooner.

A second customer reported a payment problem during the update. The conversation ended before we could investigate further. Personal information has been hidden.
